Talk: 9th October > ”Growing edible cities”
We’ll take you on a tour to some of Cityplot’s projects in Barcelona, Berlin and Amsterdam to explore how we use urban permaculture to regenerate the individual as well as the collective within these urban ecosystems.
Biography
The Cityplot Collective encourages city dwellers to grow their own vegetables, herbs, edible flowers, fruits with a strong focus on the Permaculture principles and ethics. We believe that it is possible to take a holistic approach when growing healthy organic food on all scales in and around the city. We work as facilitators and consultants for private growing spaces to community gardens, from schools and restaurants to large-scale urban food growing projects, such as our CSA in Amsterdam.
