This session is offered through a funded project by the Portuguese National Environmental fund (Fundo Ambiental).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>Facilitator<g class=\"gr_ gr_15 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear Style replaceWithoutSep\" id=\"15\" data-gr-id=\"15\">:<\/g><\/strong><g class=\"gr_ gr_15 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear Style replaceWithoutSep\" id=\"15\" data-gr-id=\"15\">&nbsp;Guilherme<\/g> Weishar was born in southern Portugal. Over the years he has seen this region become increasingly desertified. In 2017 he did a PDC that changed the way he sees the world. He learned about rainwater harvesting during a reforestation project in Velez Blanco, Spain. The reforestation plan included the construction of hundreds of check dams along the gullies of the mountain.
